  I have just returned from Mickey Cranks after a Bike Fit with Mick. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. It was insightful, enjoyable and made an instant difference. There was no attempt to sell me anything; only support and assistance. If you enjoy your cycling and want to find ways to improve on some of your PRs, or take away a little pain or discomfort, I would strongly recommend a bike fit with Mick.

  This shop is fantastic. I've had 2 bikes over 3 years and no end of fab advice. Mick's knowledge is second to none. This follows through the staff. Whether it's a 2 pound nutrition supplement or a full bike the service is great. The business is a great mix of product, advice and giving back to the community. Cheers for your help guys.   I got my first road bike at the weekend from Mickey Cranks and the service end-to-end was brilliant. Mick was superb as were his staff. Despite being new to the road cycling scene Mick was very patient with me - he was happy to answer any questions I had and explained the existing/upcoming bike technologies very well. It was clear Mick had a strong passion into bikes which showed in the positive experience. I also had a retül bike fit which I highly recommend people - the cannondale synapse was refined and tailored to my needs/aims. At the start Mick had a discussion with me about my past experience, aims and goals so he was able to identify my cycling needs. And with this information in mind he could make adjustment to the bike to suit my goals and my body's needs. The precision/dedication involved in the refinement of my first road bike was excellent - I received a good detailed report on the bike fit summary which showed the most intricate adjustment such as a few millimetres increase in saddle height, forward position, lowering of the handlebar, removal of spacers etc. I received comprehensive information about the different angles my body created during the analysis which was also nice. I also received a free service voucher from Mickey Cranks which was a nice touch - I'm looking forward to bringing the bike in and seeing the folks at Mickey Cranks soon. Other positives - the shop looks great, logo is awesome, plenty of stocked bikes over two floors which is nice. Again excellent staff - one example was that I was offered a hot drink before my bike fit. My bike carrier for my car didn't arrive on time for the weekend but Mick kindly helped me put the bike in my car; also giving advice on how to remove the wheels and put them back on effectively. There were also small things I noticed which impressed me a lot, when Mick carried my bike outside to my car he didn't let the wheels touch the ground. There were things for my size (gloves) that were not in stock but the team were able to order my size in for me to pick up later in the week. I could easily go longer talking about other positives but all in all Mick is a top guy and clearly cares for his customers, him and his team have excellent knowledge of all sorts of bikes, service was top notch, overall 10/10. Thanks again Mick, loving the bike and I look forward to using your store again. I am not surprised Mickey Cranks is one of the best independent bike stores in the country. Keep up the great work !
